  • Land Rover Discovery 1, L318, fitted with the 300 TDi 2.5 litre 4 cylinder engine, built from 1994 to 1998 runout.
  • Range Rover Classic, fitted with the 300 TDi 2.5 litre 4 cylinder engine, built in 1994 only (soft dash)

NOTE: This gasket is the modified stainless steel type.

We also stock this gasket as a Bundle Kit with the 3 Bolts, 8mm x 120mm. Please view alternative items.

The original Factory Block to Water pump Gasket was made of paper fibre, but was modified to Stainless Steel so it wouldn’t break.

The issue with the paper fibre gasket, is that would leak before you knew it, as the water would evaporate before dripping, due to it's location.

    excelent replacement for original gasket

As a electronic tech. it is a bit scary to start with, but process is straightforward and there is no reason to fail. But I have to say I use a bit gasket sealer, just to be sure, but because of good preparation of both surfaces probably not need it.
