Loctite 567 Thread Sealant for Metal Pipe Threads
Loctite 567 is a premium-grade thread sealant specifically engineered for use on tapered, coarse metal pipe threads and fittings. Its high-viscosity, white paste consistency allows for precise application, ensuring a secure and reliable seal without the risk of product migration into the system.
Easy Application with High Performance
This 1-part sealant requires no mixing and offers instant low-pressure sealing capability. Once applied, it cures anaerobically in the absence of air between close-fitting metal surfaces, delivering a strong seal that resists vibration and shock. The high lubricating properties also prevent galling and seizing, particularly when working with stainless steel and aluminium threads.
Oil Tolerant and High Temperature Resistant
Loctite 567 is formulated to perform reliably even on surfaces with minor contamination from oils and fluids, including lubricants, cutting fluids and corrosion protection coatings. It is also suitable for high-temperature environments, maintaining sealing integrity under demanding operating conditions.
Certified for Safety and Compliance
This product carries several important certifications, including NSF/ANSI 61 approval for potable water applications, UL classification, and KIWA GASTEC QA AR 214 compliance for hydrogen gas systems. These certifications make it suitable for use across a wide range of industrial and commercial sealing applications where safety and reliability are paramount.
Trusted Solution for Industrial Applications
Engineered to prevent leakage, resist loosening and enable easy disassembly, Loctite 567 is a versatile choice for industries such as plumbing, gas, manufacturing, and maintenance. Its combination of strength, safety compliance and ease of use ensures long-lasting sealing performance you can rely on.
