The ModCAP is in a category of its own. Start with a flat-roof canopy with rear door entry and large side access doors. When priorities change, the interchangeable roof system means you can convert to a ModCAP Compact Camper, Canopy Camper, or Family Camper without removing the base unit. Rear door entry instead of tailgate entry changes how the platform works entirely, purpose-built for serious overland builds.

An Alu-Cab aluminium canopy is the foundation of how your ute works, for the job site, the corrugations, or three weeks out touring with your family. Pre-welded, fully sealed, with integrated roof rails, built-in LED lighting, and a double-seal door system that actually keeps the dust out. We fit these across 79 Series Landcruiser, Ford Ranger, Hilux, D-Max, Navara, Amarok, BYD Shark and more, and we do it properly, in our workshop.

The Explorer Canopy is the work-focused choice solid sides, no windows, fully welded construction, and the widest vehicle compatibility in the Alu-Cab range. Purpose-built for secure tool storage and daily job site use.
The Explorer is security-first with no side windows, ideal for work and remote travel. The Contour adds optional side windows, a higher-spec finish, and a high-level brake light, making it the touring and dual-use pick. Both share the same 200kg dynamic roof load rating.
It depends on your vehicle, current setup, and how you're loading it. A canopy adds 60–146kg before any gear goes in. If you're running a 79 Series, Ranger, Hilux, or D-Max with accessories and a working payload, you need to know your GVM position. We assess this at quote stage.
Yes. We're based in Kotara, NSW approximately 2 hours north of Sydney CBD. Customers regularly travel from Sydney metro, the Central Coast, and Hunter region for proper fitment. Most combine a canopy fitting with electrical or storage work to make the trip worthwhile.
