One of the most common Land Rover and Range Rover complaints. A vehicle that sags overnight, sits low or throws a suspension fault warning usually points to an air bag leak, a tired compressor, a valve block or a ride-height sensor. We diagnose the root cause rather than just resetting the light, on Discovery 3, 4 and 5 and Range Rover, Sport, Vogue and Velar.
Timing chain & tensioner wearRattle on cold start
On the petrol V6 and V8 and the Ingenium diesels, worn timing chain guides and tensioners announce themselves with a rattle or clatter on cold start. Caught early it’s a manageable job; left too long the chain can slip. We check and replace timing components to keep the engine safe.
Cooling & overheatingCracked plastic pipes · water pumps
Land Rover engines run hot through a lot of plastic pipework. Cracked coolant crossover pipes, tired water pumps and brittle expansion tanks are common causes of low-coolant warnings and temperature spikes. Will servicing my Land Rover away from the dealer void my warranty?
No. Under Australian Consumer Law you can have your Land Rover serviced at any qualified workshop without affecting your manufacturer’s warranty, as long as three things are met: the technician is appropriately qualified, the parts are fit for purpose (they don’t have to be genuine), and the work follows the manufacturer’s schedule. We meet all three and stamp your logbook.
