At All Four x 4, we love turning already-capable vehicles into next-level tourers and this facelift VDJ79 LandCruiser in Sandy Taupe is no exception. Recently completed in our workshop, this customer build features a suite of high-quality upgrades designed to improve performance, handling, and off-road capability.

Lovells 4200kg GVM Upgrade

This build includes a Lovells GVM (Gross Vehicle Mass) upgrade, increasing the payload capacity to a massive 4200kg. This is essential for staying legal and safe once you start adding accessories, gear, and towing equipment. Lovells Springs are ADR compliant, engineer-certified, and provide improved suspension performance under load, perfect for touring, trade, or fleet vehicles.

Boss Airbags

To help manage heavy loads and improve ride quality, we fitted a set of Boss airbags in the rear suspension. These tough, Australian-designed airbags offer superior support, height adjustment, and better handling when carrying variable weights.

DWIZ Diff Housing with Track Correction

We also added a DWIZ diff housing and track correction kit, which brings the rear axle track in line with the front. This mod not only improves handling and tyre wear but also gives the vehicle a more balanced and planted stance, especially useful when off-road.

Brown Davis Long Range Fuel Tank

To boost fuel capacity for long-distance touring, we installed a Brown Davis long range tank. This high-quality replacement tank increases range significantly without compromising ground clearance or underbody protection. Perfect for outback travel or remote work.

This build is one of the first we've fitted with the brand-new Safari Armax snorkel for the facelift VDJ79.
